The End of Hugo 🏳

July 5th 2025, I discovered Hugo. I wanted to make my devlog where I document my coding thoughts and code itself. I personally came to the conclusion before, that I dont like working much on the UI side of things, I prefer minimalism and understanding.

Turned out Hugo totally clears the need to wrestle with HMTL, CSS and JS and it was a golden tool for me just use markdown push your code and good to good ? I mean yes sir....

But updating things soon turned out to be very much tidious...

Everytime generating a new public folder, initializing it as a git repo and pushing the code was very annoying. Couple of months later I tried to find some already hosted services that can convert my md and host a site for me.

After ditching hashnode, cuz it dumps everything on the home page I found out about bearblog. And man o man it checked all my boxes !

And that was it, I found a cool ass service that will do my job absolutely without any issue + the no tracking and stuff ? Cherry On the Top. 🍒

I still might use hugo if required but for now the hugo arc is over !!
